After captivating audiences since 2006, the Broadway Beng® series returns with its 9th and most exciting installment yet: Broadway Beng® Fukien Special, a playful twist on the Cantonese word “Fukien,” meaning Hokkien.
This show is more than just entertainment—it’s a tribute to the rich cultural heritage that his devoted fans know and love. Expect a one-of-a-kind Singaporean experience, complete with reimagined Hokkien songs, cheeky humor, sharp satire, live music, and stunning costumes, all with English subtitles for everyone to enjoy.
Broadway Beng® won’t be alone in this spectacular production. Joining him are three fabulous “chio bus”—Denise Tan, Audrey Luo, and Sharon Sum—who will add their own charm and sass to the show. With a live band led by the talented Joel Nah, the music will be an eclectic mix of Hokkien classics, all delivered with Broadway Beng’s iconic flair.
The show runs for four (extended from three) special nights, from 23 to 26 October 2024, at the Capitol Theatre, with each performance lasting 105 minutes (including a 15-minute intermission).
